What You’ll Do:
• Perform Warranty Repairs: Handle punch lists, warranty service calls, and minor repairs to ensure client satisfaction and uphold Starr Homes' quality standards.
• Hands-On Problem Solving: Roll up your sleeves to tackle a variety of field tasks, from finish carpentry to small repairs and adjustments.
• Quality Assurance Inspections: Complete final QA walkthroughs to catch details before clients move in and provide feedback to the build team.
• Client-Facing Service: Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for homeowners post-closing, ensuring a smooth experience and addressing any concerns.
• Investigate and Prevent Issues: Identify root causes of problems to determine responsibility, ensuring the company avoids costs tied to trade errors or warranty exclusions.
• Coordinate and Hold Trades Accountable: Work directly with trade partners to schedule repairs, enforce standards, and confirm timely completion of work.
• Protect Client Homes: Take steps to protect finished homes and client belongings while performing work.
• Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with the warranty coordinator, project managers, and trade partners to schedule and complete work.
• Document and Track Work: Maintain clear documentation of service items, responsible parties, and completed work through Buildertrend or other tracking systems.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.
About You:
• Warranty/Renovation Experience: You have experience in warranty service, remodeling, or related trades, with a strong knowledge of residential construction.
• Hands-On and Skilled: Comfortable performing a variety of finish-level tasks, including minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and hardware adjustments.
• Detail-Oriented Investigator: You take pride in identifying the root cause of issues, holding trade partners accountable, and protecting the company’s bottom line.
• Client-Focused: Skilled at working directly with homeowners, making them feel valued, heard, and supported.
• Protective of Client Spaces: You take care to protect client belongings and homes while performing repairs or walkthroughs.
• Organized and Reliable: Able to prioritize, schedule, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Proficient with Technology: Familiarity with Buildertrend, mobile apps, email, and photo documentation.
• Independent and Team-Oriented: Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the team.

What You’ll Do:
• Support Purchasing and Accounting: Assist with day-to-day accounting functions and purchasing processes under the direction of the accounting department.
• Process and Verify Invoices: Review incoming bills for accuracy, match them to purchase orders, and ensure proper coding in QuickBooks.
• Create and Track Purchase Orders: Generate POs for projects in Buildertrend, verify vendor pricing, and track approvals.
• Reconcile Discrepancies: Investigate invoice or PO discrepancies, identify root causes, and work with vendors, project managers, and accounting staff to resolve issues.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with project managers, vendors, and accounting team members to ensure financial accuracy and timely payment processing.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep meticulous records of POs, invoices, and vendor communications to support project and financial tracking.
• Vendor Communication: Reach out to vendors for clarifications, updated pricing, or corrections to invoices.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.
About You:
• Detail-Oriented Investigator: Naturally curious and skilled at digging into discrepancies to find and solve root causes.
• Accounting & Purchasing Experience: Comfortable working in QuickBooks and Buildertrend, with experience in invoice processing, coding, and PO management.
• Tech-Savvy: Confident using accounting software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
• Organized and Accurate: Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and deadlines.
• Collaborative Communicator: Able to work well with vendors, accounting staff, and project managers.
• Problem Solver: Thrives on untangling complicated situations and improving processes.
• Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling a mix of accounting and operational tasks.
